One of the challenges that can arise with installing custom paver designs is the amount of dust created by cutting pavers and concrete. To help alleviate this from happening, we have invested in the latest and best dust suppression technology available to enhance our fleet of saws. We have several saws that cut with water and contain the slurry which dramatically reduces the amount of dust. We are one of the first contactors to own and utilize a saw with a vacuum bag attachment to collect the dust as we cut. Some custom installations with curves and unique shapes do not allow for the usage of such dust suppression systems in which case we implement the use of cutting stations with a filter cloth fence surrounding them. In addition to the implementation of a filter cloth fence, there is always present onsite numerous industrial fans to keep any particulate matter contained. The application of these techniques allows for the vast majority of the dust to collect within the fence and helps prevent concrete dust blowing around your property. These tools and practices can greatly reduce dust from spreading across your property, as well as your neighbours. Through the implementation of these methods, it aids in keeping friendly relationships with neighbours allowing the project to move forward at a faster pace and keeping the neighbourhood clean. In addition to dust suppression, we also have added several electric saws to our fleet. These saws cut stone dramatically quieter than our gas-powered saws. These saws are key in reducing the amount of emissions generated from your project and reducing the volume as much as possible.
